Steve and I will be talking about building and resuscitating the My Father’s Place brand – that something special something that made MFP mean so much to so many – and why it still matters to us today. We’ll be signing copies of our book, Fun + Dangerous and I’m auctioning some memorabilia to benefit Long Island Music Hall of Fame. Doors open at 5:30 PM. New Exhibition: NY Music After Woodstock

Relive the most vibrant, diverse and exciting time in the history of New York music. After Woodstock, new sounds erupted, clubs became podiums for social statements and NY was the epicenter for a constellation of musical genres.

See 50+ images from iconic photographers and hear the sounds and stories of a classic era.

Special Opening Event

May 22 from 3- 6pm. Live Concert – Aric Lee and the Razors Plus, local radio personality Dennis Elsas chats with Eppy, the owner of My Father’s Place and rock house photographer Steve Rosenfield – the co- authors of Fun & Dangerous: Untold Tales, Unseen Photos and Unearthed Music From My Father’s Place 1975-1980.

Plus, a interview and exhibition of the artwork of legendary artist and musician Commander Cody.

A portion of the proceeds from book and image sales will be donated to the Rye Arts Center – Westchester’s largest non-profit art center.
